Project Museum
A downloadable game for Windows
Educational - Immersive - First Person - Exploration - Puzzle
Project Museum is an educational game that offers an immersive interactive experience that presents artwork related to English culture through exploration and puzzles.
As a 'Solo' Game Developer intern, I was solely responsible for creating the game using Unreal Engine 5. It took close to three and a half months to complete.
The game was developed for a techno-creativity project managed by Alina Gonzalez within the University of Poitiers called "Enjeux de la conception vidéoludique et apports de la techno créativité dans le développement d'une créativité en formation initiale des enseignants à l'INSPE" which is a part of a grander project named Dem'UP.
This project was created as a part of a master's project of Laurianne Derippe.
Two original soundtracks were composed by Samuel Cadet.
* It is suggested to have a high-end PC to be able to run the full game without any problems. There is an option to only play the interior part which is more performance friendly. The exterior environment may cause performance issues for older specs due to heavy vegatation and ray-traced lighting.
** There are two easter eggs hidden in the exterior environment. One is a secret cinematic and the other is a reference to a well-known video game. The gameplay video includes both.
Assets from the Unreal Engine Marketplace were used to help create the environments.
Controls and credits are included in the game.
